Double Tay swim 2024
Sun 14th Jul saw 3 swimmers undertake the Double Tay swim (2 miles) from the Broughty Ferry Harbour over to Tayport Harbour and back to Broughty Ferry Harbour.
The recorded times were as follows.
Ladies:
1st. Lynsey Coupland 1 Hr 07 Min 25 Sec
Mens:
1st. Kris Copeland 49 Min 52 Sec
2nd. Robert Mitchell 1 Hr 06 Min 39 Sec
The swimmers were filmed by a german TV crew who were making a documentary about Dundee and the Tay.
Trophies and medals were presented by Margaret Moodie who was the swim organiser for this event.
